WASHING OUR PETS

Nowadays having a pet carries many responsibilities, as well as providing them with food, taking them out for a walk several times a day, taking them to the vet regularly, we have to keep them in optimum hygiene conditions. Our pets live with us and have to be clean, free of knots and parasites.

THE BRUSHED

Brushing our pets’ hair regularly has many benefits: it avoids the accumulation of knots and sniping, the hair is healthy and bright, activates the circulation of the blood and strengthens the pet-owner bond.

Starting to manipulate them is not always easy and more if you are not used to it. The best way to get used to them is from puppies. Between 2-4 months, the period of socialization and learning takes place. All the experiences that you have had at this stage will serve them to adapt to them with total normality.

Depending on each type of hair, we will brush with greater or lesser frequency. Longer hairs need several brushes a week, those who have short hair once will be enough.

THE BATH

We have to bathe our dog every time I need it. It will obviously depend on the animal’s lifestyle, it is not the same a dog that spends a lot of time outside that someone else who lives in a flat in a city.

Today there is a wide variety of shampoos and conditioners of high quality adapted to your skin that provide hydration and nutrition in the mantle and that allow frequent baths. We will use the most suitable shampoo for your hair type, there are for long hair, short hair, hard hair, white, puppy, etc.

 

Bathing in cats is also recommended, although they are constantly cleaning through the pores that excel in their tongue, bathing them is a way to help remove dead hair, especially in long-haired cats .
